Old Fashioned Fourth of July 2021 Celebration

Mayor George C. Brown is happy to announce further details of the Old Fashioned Fourth of July 2021 Celebration. The event will be held on Sunday, July 4th, 2021, from 11 AM to 10 PM at Kirby Park, Market Street, Wilkes-Barre, PA.

The event will have food and craft vendors as well as amusement rides and games. Fireworks, presented by Skyshooter Displays, begin at 9:30 PM.

The Wilkes-Barre City Health Department will administer COVID-19 Vaccines (18+) in the Vaccine Trailer from 3PM to 7PM.

Receive the COVID-19 Vaccine (18+) on July 4th from 3PM to 7PM at The Wilkes-Barre City Health Department's Vaccine Trailer at Kirby Park and receive a $25 voucher redeemable that day at the event's food vendors.

The City reminds residents and visitors that alcoholic beverages, glass containers, smoking, and personal fireworks (including sparklers), and pets are prohibited in Kirby Park. Kirby Park will close immediately after the conclusion of the fireworks.
