The Wilkes-Barre Fire Department is a full-service career department that provides fire, rescue, advanced life support emergency medical service, fire code enforcement and fire prevention activities. The Department responds to over 11,000 emergencies each year.

The City of Wilkes-Barre has three Fire/Emergency Medical Service stations:

  1. Headquarters, located at 20-22 East Ross Street
  2. South Station, located at 313 High Street
  3. Hollenback Station, located at 1020 North Washington Street
