The City of Wilkes-Barre works hand-in-hand with the following organizations to promote and protect the economic and cultural impact of the city and the region. 

Greater Wyoming Valley Chamber of Commerce

The Chamber's mission is to unite and support those community-conscious business organizations and individuals in Luzerne County and to seek to enhance the business climate, business success, quality of life and general welfare in Northeastern Pennsylvania.​ The Chamber's vision is to be the preeminent organization connecting our community and improving the quality of life in Greater Wilkes-Barre from the perspective of our businesses, community organizations, and academic capital.​

Diamond City Partnership

The Diamond City Partnership (DCP) is Wilkes-Barre’s alliance for downtown revitalization, serving as the caretaker of our community’s vision for Downtown Wilkes-Barre. Founded in 2001, DCP is a not-for-profit downtown management organization whose work plan is intended to improve the economic vitality and livability of Downtown Wilkes-Barre. DCP also administers the Downtown Wilkes-Barre Business Improvement District (DWBBID), which provides a range of place management services to the properties and businesses of Downtown Wilkes-Barre. Since its founding, DCP has realized many accomplishments and goals.

Downtown Wilkes-Barre Business Association

The Downtown Wilkes-Barre Business Association (DWBBA) is the promotional arm of Wilkes-Barre’s downtown revitalization effort: a 501(c)(6) not-for-profit organization comprised of almost 100 member businesses and organizations who are committed to working together to promote, maintain, and encourage the economic well-being and the quality of life in downtown Wilkes-Barre. The Association is incorporated exclusively for purposes of assisting in the promotion, marketing, development and improvement of the downtown area of Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, and to advance the economic well-being of the community.

Visit Luzerne County

Visit Luzerne County is a well-established organization with over 20 years of destination management experience. The mission of the Visitors Bureau is to increase the number of visitors to Northeastern Pennsylvania by means of advertising, promotion and comprehensive customer service. Continuous promotion of our partners to the potential visitors and as the official source for the county residents.
