Public Meeting: WVSA River Street, 30 inch Interceptor Repair Project.

A public meeting will be held at the Wilkes-Barre DPW located at 3 Cunningham Street in Wilkes-Barre Pennsylvania on August 7, 2018, at 3:30pm. The meeting is being held to go over the upcoming Wyoming Valley Sanitary Authority, River Street, 30 inch Interceptor Repair Project. The project is intended to start as early as August 20, 2018 but no later than September 10, 2018. 

North River Street will be closed to thru traffic for the duration of the project from Maple Street to Courtright Avenue.  Access to local businesses and residents will be maintained throughout the project.  Some streets that intersect with North River Street will be temporarily made into two-way traffic instead of one-way to facilitate access to various properties.  The project will be done in phases to minimize any impact to businesses or residents. The estimated project duration is 6-8 weeks and is weather dependent.
