Wilkes-Barre Mayor George Brown Presents Check to Osterhout Free Library

Wilkes-Barre Mayor George Brown presented a check to the Osterhout Free Library in the amount of $7,500, to be used towards the library’s community focused programs.

According to the library’s website, “the Osterhout Free Library is a member of the Luzerne County Library System, as well as the district center for the Wilkes-Barre Library District. The Library provides material and services to all residents of Luzerne County enabling them to obtain information, free of charge, for their personal, educational, recreational and professional needs. Our mission is to continue to broaden these services and to stimulate their use.”
