Wilkes-Barre City’s Columbus Day Holiday Collection Schedule

Wilkes-Barre City Hall will be closed and there will be no garbage, recycling, or yard waste on Columbus Day, Monday, October 9^th, for residents in Downtown & South Wilkes-Barre 1 neighborhoods.

Can, Bottles, and Plastics Recycling and Garbage collection is rescheduled for Tuesday, October 10^th, 2023. Yard Waste collection is postponed until Monday, October 16^th, 2023. All other collections remain unchanged.
