WBPD Community Policing Crime Reduction Initiative Announced

This morning, Mayor George C. Brown and WBPD Chief Joe Coffay hosted a press conference to announce the procurement of six bikes for the Wilkes-Barre City Police Department's Community Policing Crime Reduction initiative. The program will provide community policing, in the form of bike patrols, in targeted areas throughout the City. The six bikes were funded in part by The Luzerne Foundation and Downtown Wilkes-Barre.
