Water Main Project Work on North Washington Street from East Union to East Market Street beginning September 20, 2023

Pennsylvania American Water has alerted the City of Wilkes-Barre to major roadwork on North Washington Street from East Union Street to East Market Street. The project is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, September 20th and will take approximately 6 weeks, with work occurring Monday through Friday, from 7 AM to 5 PM. The road will be closed to all traffic. Motorists are asked to avoid the area.
