More Cherry Blossom Festival Details Announced
Mayor George C. Brown welcomes residents and visitors to the City of Wilkes-Barre’s Annual Cherry Blossom Festival on Saturday, April 30 and Sunday, May 1, 2022 from 11 AM to 7 PM each day in Kirby Park, on Market Street.
The event will include over 30 food and retail vendors, amusement rides and games, and live entertainment.

Huey’s Amusements will have nine family-friendly rides in the Kirby Park parking lot. Tickets are $1.50 each, $15 for 12 tickets, and $25 for 24 tickets. There will be a $20 all day wristband on Sunday.
Live entertainment at the Martz Pavilion on Saturday, April 30th will be Vine Street from 12-3 PM and A Proud Monkey from 4-7 PM. On Sunday, May 1st Angry Young Band: The Billy Joel Tribute will perform from 3-6 PM.
Festival attendees are reminded the Alcoholic Beverages are NOT permitted in the city parks and pets are not allowed during City Sponsored Events.
