Mayor George C. Brown Announces Grant Received for Brookside Levee Rehabilitation Project

The City of Wilkes-Barre has been awarded $350,000 to fund the engineering and design work necessary for the Brookside Levee Rehabilitation Project.

The project had to undergo the formal approval process which included approvals from the United States Army Corps of Engineers, the Mitigation Program Advisory Board, and the Luzerne County Flood Protection Authority Board.
