Mayor Brown Announces 2024 FREE Summer Concert on Public Square performer: Starship Featuring Mickey Thomas

This afternoon, Wilkes-Barre City Mayor George C. Brown announced the 2024 FREE Summer Concert on Public Square performer: Starship Featuring Mickey Thomas

The concert is on Friday, August 16, 2024, starting at 6:00 PM with Starship Featuring Mickey Thomas taking the stage at 7:30 PM.

The concert will feature Starship featuring Mickey Thomas’ greatest hits like “We Built This City,” “Jane,” “Sara,” “Nothing’s Going To Stop Us Now,” “Laying It On The Line,” and “Find Your Way Back.” The concert will also include selections from Jefferson Starship and Jefferson Airplane, as a nod to both bands’ beginnings.

Food Vendors will be available on Public Square. Bring your own chairs and blankets.
