WBPD Law Enforcement Explorer Post

The Wilkes-Barre Police Department is proud to participate in the Boy Scouts of America Explorer Program. The program is led by Community Policing Officer Robert Collins. Exploring is a nonprofit, nationwide program for boys and girls.

WBPD has implemented two Explorer Programs:

  1. The Explorer Post Program, which teaches young adults the values and qualities needed to succeed in a law enforcement career
  2. The Explorer Club Program, which mentors children through basketball skill development.

Both programs promote personal growth, character development, physical fitness, and good citizenship.

For more information about the WBPD Explore Program, please contact Officer Robert Collins at 570.208.6725 or view the program Brochure.
