Mayor's Attendance at Event Request

Mayor George C. Brown regularly attends community events, grand openings, celebrations, and ceremonies throughout the City of Wilkes-Barre.

Individuals and organizations wishing to invite the Mayor to an event must first submit a formal request to the Mayor’s Office through the online form below.

Please also note that due to a full schedule, the Mayor is not able to accept every invitation.  The City Administrator or a member of the Administrative Staff may be able to attend in his place.

What is the name of the business or organization sponsoring the event?
If you would like the Mayor to speak at your event please include a tentative speaking agenda and talking points. If you would like the Mayor to issue a proclamation at the event please fill out a Mayoral Proclamation Request Form.
