Wilkes-Barre Mayor George Brown presented a proclamation to Northeastern Pennsylvania Philharmonic’s Executive Director Nancy Sanderson, in celebration of the Philharmonic’s 50th Anniversary
The NEPA Philharmonic is the only professional symphony orchestra in the region. The NEPA Philharmonic performs Masterworks, Pops, Holiday, Chamber, and Young People’s concerts as well as free July 3rd and 4th concerts. The orchestra’s Music in our Schools and the Philharmonic’s juried mentoring program enhance and enrich the lives of our elementary and secondary students from all parts of Northeastern Pennsylvania.
