Wilkes-Barre City Hall Employees Attend Sexual Harassment Training

VRC Seminar

This month, Wilkes-Barre City Hall employees participated in Sexual Harassment Training Seminars. Two sessions were available during the first two weeks of March. Discussions on workplace interactions took place in the sessions.

The seminar presenter was Tammi Burke, the Victims Resource Center’s Community Services Manager. Burke is a 30-year veteran in the field. She also serves as the coordinator of The Luzerne County Sexual Assault Response Team.

Victims Resource Center offers a broad spectrum of services to men, women, adolescents, and children who are victims of crime, as well as their family members and friends affected by the incident. Services are always free of charge and confidential. The agency is currently celebrating its 45th Anniversary.
