Wilkes-Barre City Announces Live Ice Sculpture Carving Demonstration at the Ice-Skating Rink on Public Square on February 3rd

Today, Wilkes-Barre Mayor George C. Brown announced that there will be a live ice carving demonstration on Friday, February 3, 2023, from 6 PM to 8 PM. Additional Ice Sculptures will be on display all weekend.

Free Hot Chocolate will be provided, courtesy of Dunkin’ Wilkes-Barre.

Ice skates will be available free of charge, in exchange for state-issued drivers licenses or identification cards, which will be returned upon skate return for use on the Ice Rink on Public Square Friday, February 3rd from 5-8 PM.

Skates Skaters are also welcome to wear their own skates. Ice Skaters under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult 18 years or older.
