Travel Delays Expected During E-Recycling Dropoff on October 17th and 20th.

Travel delays, along North Pennsylvania Avenue, between Butler Street and Conyngham Ave., are expected during the City of Wilkes-Barre’s E-Recycling Drop Off events, on Monday, October 17th, 2022, from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM and on Thursday, October 20th, 2022 from 9:00 AM  to 12:00 PM, at the Wilkes-Barre Public Works Facility, 3 Conyngham Ave., Wilkes-Barre, PA. Wilkes-Barre City Police Department Officers will be on site to help direct traffic.

The event is only for City of Wilkes-Barre residents, who must present proof of residency (i.e. Driver’s License). It is a non-contact event and residents must stay in their car. Participants will be directed to enter the facility for the drop off from North Pennsylvania Avenue, and exit on to Conyngham Ave., as shown below.

  • Car Batteries (sealed lead acid)
  • Toner & Ink Cartridges
  • Bed Frames & Rain spouting
