Portion of Franklin Street Closed May 1 & 2

On Tuesday, May 1st and Wednesday, May 2nd, South Franklin Street will be closed from Anheiser Lane to Market Street from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM each day.
Franklin Street from Northampton Street to Anheiser Lane will be opened as a two way street for that period of time.
All garages and businesses, including Boscov’s, between Northampton Street and Anheiser Lane will be accessible using Franklin St.
Signage for the road closure will be located at the intersection of Northampton and South Franklin Street. Additionally, Wilkes-Barre Police will be present for traffic control.
This temporary inconvenience is part of the ongoing renovations to the Citizen’s Bank Building.
