Mayor George C. Brown Announces Press Conference to Address Updates on the American Rescue Plan

Mayor George C. Brown will host press conference, on Wednesday, October 13th at 10 AM, in City Council Chambers, regarding updates on the status of the implementation of the Mayor’s 9-Point Plan, funded through the American Recovery Plan, for residents’ recovery from the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The press conference will include the non-profit partners who will administer elements of the 9 -Point Plan—Wyoming Valley United Way, Commission on Economic Opportunity (CEO), and the Greater Wyoming Valley Chamber of Commerce—and a detailed explanation of the requirements and application process for eligible individuals and organizations.
