Invitation to Submit Proposal

Sealed proposals will be received at the Office of the City Clerk, 40 East Market Street, Room 44, Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, 18711, until 12:00 p.m. local time, Thursday, December 13, 2018, for a 2019 Tax and Revenue Anticipation Note (TRAN).

The City of Wilkes-Barre is seeking proposals for a $3,000,000 TRAN. The TRAN will be either a taxable, non-bank-qualified OR a tax-exempt, bank-qualified note, depending on the City’s preference. Please submit both taxable and tax-exempt rate proposals. The period of the TRAN shall be January 2, 2019, through December 31, 2019. Please contact the City Clerk’s Office or the City website (wilkes-barre.city) for complete request specifications.

The City of Wilkes-Barre reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any information, defects, or irregularities in the proposal.
