Outdoor Dining Request Process

The following conditions must be satisfied before a restaurant can have outside dining on city rights-of-way:

1. The location and set-up must be reviewed by the Bureau of Operations to make sure there is sufficient space for both diners and members of the public to use the right-of-way;
2. The owner must sign an Indemnity Agreement in favor of the City;
3. The owner must provide the City with a Certificate of Insurance naming the City as an additional insured; and
4. Owners should also be reminded that they can only serve alcohol in areas licensed by the PLCB.
